Cavtat &Konavle with Dubrovnik sightseeing tour
Meeting point is usually at Pile gate near Amerling fountain but can be changed and we can pick you up in front of Customs in Gruž harbour (if you are coming with cruise ship) or in front of your hotel or apartment. First we go above the city and have panoramic view of the city and then to Konavle valley.
Konavle is a fascinating region in the hinterland of Dubrovnik, south of Dubrovnik and is known for its traditional way of living, production of pure olive oil, wine production, vineyards with local grape varieties, green natural honey, local embroidery. The Konavle region is an ethnographic and natural jewel of Croatia. The village of Ljuta, named after the river Ljuta, is an interesting and green area to visit. A complex of historical, restored, water mills is open for public. An optional visit and demonstration of the water mill complex of Ljuta could be organised.
A visit to Cavtat should not miss during this excursion. Cavtat, the most southern town of Croatia, a mix of old and new architecture. Cavtat was originally a Greek settlement called Epidaurus. It’s known for its beaches, and the many ancient Illyrian necropolises dotted around the area. With a beautiful promenade with palm trees, numerous terraces, very good restaurants and shops allows each visitor a great memories.
After this short visit we go back to Dubrovnik. Our driver will drop us off at Pile gate and we have sightseeing tour throught the historical center with all highlights of the city.
